Either :

Mórtas an Éireannaigh

or :

Mórtas an Ghaeil

Take your pick Melissa. While not censuring you in any way, I would like to think that you might learn some of the language yourself before you go for the irreversible tattoo. Just delve into it for a while and be convinced of what you want, because if having searched around in Irish literature, I feel, that you shall come on some really beautiful phrases that you may regret not having tattooed! You might not realise at this point that there is a literature of 1,405 years to choose from.

Is minic cú mall sona. (The slow hound is often happy; i.e. taking things easy and slow often works out better) Either way, good luck - Ádh mór.

Does anyone have any suggestions then? I've been reading through the forums on the different sayings, I've found several lovely phrases. But I'm kinda lost on what to pick. Seosamh, you have a good idea, I will look around more.

Thank you
