Em, sure, they mean "Justice" and "Truth" respectively, but they're Latin, not Irish. |

They aren't Irish. They are Latin. Veritas = Truth. I think,and so does a co-worker, that Aequitas is Equality. As gaeilge I would try Fíor agus ionannas or, you could try Fírinne agus comhionannas I'm not sure what the differences are between the two but both sets of words are in my Foclóir Beag. I stand corrected on the Aequitas. In that case try deleting ionnanas and comhionnanas and inserting cóir. Le meas, James |
