I am after remembering something I heard my grandfather say on a programme regarding the drowning tragedy in Inis Gé. According to the subtitles it said "It came when they were out fishing", were he said something like " Tháining sé orthu nuair a bhí siad amach a' scunna( spelling ?). Does anyone have any idea as to what this could be, something to do with fishing?
