I have modernised the spelling of the whole of book 1 and it is at http://www.corkirish.com/wordpress/niamh-in-modernised-spelling , and it can be printed out from there. I need to proofread and check things - so if anyone spots any errors, don't be slow in pointing them out. It is a great read as a book.
