is críonna right for "ancient"? I know críonna means old, but ancient is more than old - an ancient soul - he probably means he is rooted in an ancient civilisation with thousand of years of history, despite the fact that he personally is young? Why not arsaidh? |

I am not trying to say household of enemies but those of my own house are my enemies or something similar. I will have to research Aonghus' suggestions for young heart ancient soul to see which I like best I will also look at Suaimhneas'. But, thanks for your help I am a 2nd gen immagrant deprived of my heritage mostly by my mother. My maternal grandparents both immagrated to the USA from Ireland and my father was an Irishman as well. Sincerely, Cledwyn |

quote:Why not arsaidh? Because ársa didn't occur to me, and I liked the ambiguity of old/wise that goes with críonna! |
