Heard this on the Bearna go Carna prog on TG4 and had been wondering would it be ceartlár or ceart lár.. then I saw it in a Foinse article yesterday as " trí cheart lár na cathrach i Nua Eabhrac".

Before anyone thinks I'm going overboard asking this I'm just wondering if there is a reason for the space between the two words (there wasn't a hyphen) and if I can use this as a rule of thumb in my future learning!

Like "croílár", I have seen it almost exclusively without the space. I have no idea what the correct practice is, or even if there is one.

Either one you pick, I'd write them together, which is what every dictionary I have has.
