Níl a fhios agam, ach cinnte seo é ceart: An bhfuil dhiail ag fiocsan a dhul? Oh, I feel guilty now murdalizing the Irish language. I ndiaidh a chéile a thógtar na caisleáin.

quote:phruigean Sounds good to me. It's just above zero Celsius here, but we have had more snow and - in particular longer icy weather than in my liftime. And since we don't often get snow and ice, things have pretty much broken down. |

Táim go mhaith, agus tá mo charr go mhaith freisin go dtí seo. Nuair a bhfuil mé ag dul chun obair, tá orm fuardhúisithe, ach is féidir liom plugáil na téitheoirí isteach ar aghaidh an phictiúrlann. Bhí a lán geimhrí níos fuaire i rith den dara cogadh domhan, mar shampla. -50 nó a leithéid a raibh nuair a chomhlíon(?) mo sheanathair ann. Jussi Tine, siúil liom!

Hello Faberm, I am just now getting back into the swing of things after a round of flu... I feel your pain, I am north of you a fair bit in Iowa/Nebraska and the weather is playing with us also. I am in the heart of the part of Iowa that was recently declared a disaster area. Which is funny because they were showing all this footage of our farms under snow and the roads with the 30+ foot (10+ meters) snow drifts...but it was the cities that were in trouble. All the farmers were prepared because we go through this ever year. While are governor was screaming to get help for the people in the country, it was the people in the country who were coming to the aid of the cities...LOL While today and next few are going to be warmer than normal, we are getting ready for another storm this way. Today it is 22F (-5C) and people are walking around without coats and talking about how warm it is after the past few weeks which have been around -5F (-20C) and -10 (-23C). While not extremely cold, the 40mph (64kph) winds...this year is starting out rather crappy. Funny thing is, leading climatologists in late 70's predicted we were facing 'a mini ice age' sometime around the turn of the century.. Global warming wasn't invented until the eighties when Thatcher's government needed to stigmatize the coal mining industry to get the people to accept nuclear power stations. |

How do we say, "one cannot predict the weather" or "you cannot predict the weather" as Gaeilge? "If there's something wrong, those who have the ability to take action, have the responsibility to take action." Nicholas Cage (Ben Gates) National Treasure

Tá an ciall sin leis, ach is tagairt é don deacracht a rá go raibh lá deas ó thaobh na haimsire sula mbíonn sé thart. |
