I know there are a few verb conjugator websites. I tried searching the archives for this particular one that I checked out before. I think it was in Irish only or Irish and German. All you had to do was type in any verb and it will display every single possible way of conjugating it. The other ones are a bit more complex. Right now I'm trying to find out if 'bhínn' is correct. As in "I used to work in _______". Bhínn ag obair..... When writing your messages, please use the same courtesy that you would show when speaking face-to-face with someone. - Daltaí.com

Is this what you are after? An Aimsir Ghnáthchaite - The Past Habitual (Imperf I used to be beinn; you used to be beifeá; he used to be beadh sé; she used to be beadh sí; you used to be beimis; we used to be beadh sibh; they used to be beidís; Autonomous : used to be been beifí; Negative (Diúltach): used to be ní bheadh sé; Question (Ceisteach): used to be an mbeadh sé; from irishdictionary.ie |

Both the conjugator at http://www.englishirishdictionary.com/dictionary and at http://www.csis.ul.ie/focloir/ work in exactly the way you describe: Just type in the citation form (i.e. 2S command) to see the full paradigm. |

Go hiontach. Go raibh maith 'ad a Dhomhnaillín. That's exactly the site I couldn't find again. I used to have it bookmarked. http://www.csis.ul.ie/focloir/ GRMA a Aonghuis. My first instinct was to write 'Bhí mé ag obair i _____' but it appears that's incorrect. But the one at http://www.englishirishdictionary.com/dictionary is wrong in this case. It also mixes first and second plural, everywehere, it would seem. Why the heck haven't they fixed such an obvious problem? Tine, siúil liom!

Braitheann sé ar an tréimhse ama a bhí i gceist. Bhínn ag obair sa Ghearmáin ar feadh leathscór bliain. Bhí mé ag obair i lár na cathrach inné. Is dóigh liom. Ach níl mé cinnte! (Message edited by aonghus on November 14, 2009) |

Seo a deir na bráithre: •an aimsir ghnáthchaite uimhir éiginnte de phointí ama san am atá caite: thagadh an galtán gach lá anuraidh. Tá an méid a scríobh mé thuas míchruinn. Ba chirte: Bhí mé ag obair sa Ghearmáin ar feadh leathscór bliain. Bhínn a obair ar traenacha go minic, ach san oifig seachas sin. |

quote:When would you say: bhí mé ag obair and bhínn ag obair? bhí mé ag obair = I was (continuously) working. bhínn ag obair = I was (habitually) working. Regular past implies one instance, or at least no regard for instances. The habitual indicates a repetition in the past. (Message edited by seánw on November 14, 2009) I ndiaidh a chéile a thógtar na caisleáin.

irishdictionary.ie just has a case of bad website formatting. This was right below the "An Aimsir Ghnáthchaite - The Past Habitual" The Imperfect Tense bhínn; bhíteá; bhíodh sé; bhíodh sí; bhíodh sibh; bhímis; bhídís; Autonomous : bhítí; Negative (Diúltach): ní bhíodh sé; Question (Ceisteach): an mbíodh sé I ndiaidh a chéile a thógtar na caisleáin.
