I received an email containing the words "kush-ma ma-kree." This is obviously intended to be a phonetic spelling of something Irish, but I don't have any mastery of Irish spelling at all, so I can't figure out what he's trying to say. Can anyone help me, please? Thank you very much.
Kathleen

My guess is he was trying for:

A chuisle mo chroí! (Literally = "pulse of my heart!")

Thank you so much! I am familiar with the words you both have provided, but I must pronounce them wrong, as it did not seem to fit his phonetic spelling. But I have no one, other than online, to speak the words aloud, so I'm sure my pronunciation is completely wrong! *sigh* My heart so yearns to learn this, but it is so difficult!
Thank you for your generous help!
