Dia daoibh,

Ba mhaith ag fanacht san Ghaeltacht (Cheathru Rua, más feidir) ar samhraidh seo chugainn ar feadh scathaimh.. B'fhéidir mí amháin. Chuala mé go raibh seans agam chun stopadh ag clann nuair a bheidh mé ansin. Cad é an scéal le seo?

An bhfuil aon eolas agaibh? Tá sé ró-dheacair chun gaeilge a fhoghlaim anseo i bport láirge, agus mar sin - caithfidh mé dul go dtí an ghaeltacht.

Go raibh maith agaibh,

Le meas,

Seán.

A Sheán, I know you - you did a couple of vids on YouTube as Gaeilge a while back, didn't you? Maith thu!

I think describing your abilities as Gaeilge as 'cúpla focal' is being a bit modest, but anyway - you're not keen on brushing up on your Irish at an Rinn, then? Or don't they cater for adult learners all that well maybe?

I did a chara, must add a new video soon.

I've been to An Rinn on a number of occasions, but I'm finding it hard to find budget accomadation there. IT works out at over €400 a week. An Rinn is pretty small also.

I'm ideally looking to stay with a family who will sponsor me for a month. The live-in environment will allow me to learn Gaeilge at a much quicker pace.

Go raibh maith agaibh ar aon nós.

Seán

B'fhiú duit aithne a chur ar Dhaithí Kimber i bPort Láirge féin chomh maith a Sheáin, mura bhfuil aithne agat air cheana féin. Tá comhluadar Gaeilge sa bhaile mór agus lasmuigh den Rinn, mar is eol duit, déarfainn.
Tá sé tábhachtach go mbeadh aithne ag muintir na Gaeilge sa Ghalltacht ar a chéile.
