http://www.dho.ie/doegen.html

quote:

The Royal Irish Academy library has been granted funding under PRTLI, Cycle 4 to publish the Doegen recordings of Irish speakers in the Gaeltacht and former Gaeltacht areas of Ulster, Munster and Connaught on the web

So far only one sample from An Rinn on that page.

Seoda faisnéise araon! Míle buíochas.

Ó chuala mé eagrán de "Físeanna agus Téipeanna" ar RnaG inar chraoladh cainteoirí dúchasacha ó chontaetha ina raibh an Ghaeilge ann fós ach fad de ghlúin amháin uainn (nó uaim!) siar tá suim dhomhúchta múscailte ionam i dtaifeadtaí den chineál sin. Téann macallaí na dtoibreacha tráite go mór i bhfeidhm orm.

An bhfuil foinsí eile ar fáil taobh amuigh de na cinn thuasluaite?

Is geal leis an bhfiach dubh a ghearrcach féin.

I have (or had) a CD with recordings of Connacht and Cavan, I think. Will have to look to see if I brought them with me
