I've written a little story and am including some Irish in it. The most complex part (also translated in the story itself) is a letter to the King of the Selchie. I just want to make sure it's grammatically correct.

“A Rónán, Rí na Selchí, le do thoil, ceadaigh Fionbar Casóglas agus Mícheál Ó Shúilleabháin bealach slán agus úsáid na Sleá Lúin a cloígh An Mor-Ríoghain agus na Sídhe. Le meas, do chara go deo, Cormac Fitzdresel, Árd-Rí na Lucharachán”

This is what I was going for:
“To Ronan, King of the Selchie, with your pleasure, permit Finbar Greenjacket and Michael Sullivan safe passage and use of the Spear of Lugh to defeat the Morrigan and the Faeries. Sincerely, your friend forever, Cormac Fitzdresel, High King of the Leprechauns.”

Much thanks in advance

A Antaine a chara,

You're always up to something interesting, sounds like a fun story, my little brother was wanting me to make up a story about selchies last night while we were at a concert and I told him about them and I couldn't think, maybe he'd like this one.

A Rónáin, a Rí na Selchí, le do thoil, lig d'Fhinbar Greenjacket is do Mhichael Sullivan gabháil ar aghaidh gan bhac gan chosc, agus lig dóibh Sleá Lugh a úsáid chun an Morrigan agus na Faeries a bhriseadh. Le meas, do chara go deo, Cormac Fritzdresel, Ard-Rí na Lucharachán.

A Antaine,

I tried e-mailing you twice to no avail, getting a message saying their was trouble. So I'll just give you my address below and you can send it to me at your convenience.
