Hello Ingeborg, there are no private messages here so I have to write on the forum to contact you! Just to suggest to you subscribe to the Múscraí yahoogroup http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Muskerry/ , it's very nice and it would be a nice place to discuss some stuff about Irish. (of course, other members of this forum are very welcome there too !)
Go raibh maith agat.

Lughaidh a chara

Do you still use the Donegal yahoo group?

Yes, I got the same invitation from someone, who was forced to leave us this week.

But it is nice that you invite me, too.

You are discussing there some lessons in Munster Irish. Which text is it?

I have problems there with the font, I don't see the special caracters properly.

I will try it there certainly. It seems to be a nice community.

I know just what you mean.

A lot of things that are posted to that group are sent in Unicode which means that you have to change the text encoding of your computer to be able to read it.

The bad thing about it is that YOUR postings then become unreadable if you forget to change your computer back to its original setting. Me and my girlfriend have been in the group for over a year, and she no longer tries to read or post anything to the group for that reason.

A Lughaidh a chara,

Might you give me the name of that teacher you had who knew the person in Dun Chaoin?

Tarnation, did someone get kicked out or did they just leave for this week as was said above? It makes me skittish when people get bannished, what if those in charge decide to take an ill view on me and kick me out even though I act sweet.
