We do have the word "saorbhriathar" = free verb = autonomous verb, i.e. all those forms which do not specify the subject or actor, ar nós "déantar = (someone) does". But the copula has never had such forms, not even in Old Irish as passive forms.

When you have the likes of "Is maith liom", "Is fearr liom, "Is aoibhinn liom", I consider the autonomous form to be when you take out the "le + person".
