Many moons ago, I stumbled across UTISoft's LiveDict 1.0, which had many languages available and was software for the mobile phone.

But I had an LG and could not run it.

I finally got something I think can run the software, but now they've got up LiveDict 2.0 with no Irish.

Does anyone know of a similar translating dictionary for a non-pda (non-smart) phone? Going on the internet with my phone to englishirishdictionary.com just takes too long and doesn't work if i have no signal. I'd really like to stop carrying my dictionary in addition to all the other junk in my pockets...
