I was going to say the same thing -Colm Meany was in a film with Colin Farrell where he was talking about the 'Irish spirit'...which tells you Colm has been brain washed into thinking that stage-Irish lite is a form of cultural expression to be proud of -too long in America maybe?

The film's theme sounds somewhat like "I Could Read the Sky" which had Iarla Ó Lionáird on the soundtrack (creidim).
