Tá mé i ndiaidh dearmad a déanamh.
Tá mé tar éis dearmad a déanamh.

An seo é?

Thanks! that was really helpful!
but what about simple statements like 'i have worked' ?
would they still be the same as the site explained?

Yes, for that statement the preterite would be natural in Irish, "D'oibrigh mé."
Alternatively, you might use this construction (using the verb Bí+verbal noun) if the activity has just ended: Tá mé taréis oibriú.

'Oibriú' is what we use for the verbal noun form, but some people may use other forms.
