Hey everyone.

How would I put in Irish ''Many people outside of the house call maths mathematics''

I know its very random, but how would I put that in Irish?

And can someone show me the grammar of it.

Its just an example.

Hmm, may I ask about the ''mó'' I haven't seen that before. :)

Would ''Is duine amuigh an teach a thugann matamaitic ar maths''

Does that make any sense?

This site is great, I can pick up my Irish! :)

Is iomaí duine taobh amuigh den teach a thugann 'mathematics' ar 'mhaths.'

Tugann go leor (a lán) daoine taobh amuigh den teach 'mathematics' ar 'mhaths.'

quote:

is mó duine = many people, lit. "is more a man"

You could also say: is iomaí duine, a lán daoine, neart daoine, cuid mhór daoine, mórán daoine, and perhaps there are some more varieties.
quote:

Is duine amuigh an teach...

= Someone outside the house
"many" is missing.
The phrase "amuigh an teach" sounds wrong.

For "(s.o.) outside of the house" I'd say (duine) lasmuigh den teach / taobh amuigh den teach
