Have been trying to use the English (Ireland) keyboard selection within Microsoft Word to make typing fadas easier. However this system puts in a grave (backward leaning tic) mark instead of an acute (forward leaning) mark. First, why does Microsoft go to all the trouble of creating an Ireland specific keyboard and then get it backward? Second, is there a way to correct this and get the fada right? |

I use the English(UK) keyboard settings, then AltGr+vowel gives all the fadas correctly. áéíóú ÁÉÍÓÚ |

Níor obair é sin domsa. I have to copy and paste the fadas from the bottom of the page. Can you change your keyboard settings? |
