Thug mé 'briosca" (briosc + biscuit , nó "biscuit" faoi anáil "briosc" ?) daoibh cheana. Céard faoi "craoladh"? An ó "craobh-scaoileadh" é? Más ea, an focal "portmanteau" ceart é seo?

Since I never heard of the word "portmanteau" before, I thought I'd check to see what wikipedia had to say: Looks like from their point of view, the word has been superseded by the word blend (how bland! ): From www.wikipedia.org:
