Hello everyone - my apologies but "nil aon Gaeilge agam anois!" After the Primary Exam in 1952 all my education was outside Ireland/Eire/Eireann!

Can anyone please tell me if there are Irish language wall calendars available, preferable in the Catholic format with the week starting on Monday. If so where can I buy them.

My kids, Eleanor, Ciáran and Niall really need this to keep their Irish heritage in front of them all year long.

Go raibh mile maith agat!

Níl aon ghaeilge agam anois; Éire or Éirinn

I'd be surprised if there were both a Catholic calandar *and* in irish, so brace yourself for possible disappointment

Coiscéim publishes a calendar, and as far as I know the weeks start on Monday.

Out of interest I e-mailed the Diocese of Galway last night (Nov 12th 2006) to see whether they produced calenders in Irish for the Gaeltacht parishes, or whether they knew if individual parishes did so on their own.

If I hear anything I will post it here.

Go raibh maith agath to everyone!

I'm in a remote area of Northern Ontario, Canada.
Finding anything Irish up here is impossible.
My wife and I will be visiting Ireland to celebrate our 39th Wedding Anniversary late March - early April.

As far as looking for Irish as Gaeilge calendars I used the Catholic term more to differentiate them from the Jewish ones where the first day is Sunday.

Is there anywhere to order by post?

Go raibh mile maith agath.

I heard from Fiona at the Galway Diocesan office today(Nov 15) and she recommended that you can call their bookstore and they might be able to tell you where to purchase one.

They can be contacted at 091-563577.

so to call from Canada it would be

011-353-091-563577
