What is this, now?

http://www.simonsays.com/content/search_summary.cfm?spid=523078&string=irish&tab =13

There is the standard 8 lesson Pimsleur Irish on cd and cassette, but then there is an "unabridged" version as well...

Anybody know what that one contains that would make it 2x the money?

No word on a full 90 lesson version down the road either, eh?

Odd. I have the standard version of that program and it contains 4 CD, each with 2 lessons. This "unabridged" version has a fifth CD, so I'm assuming that's only two more lessons, so it would seem you' be paying twice-and-a-half as much for a product with only half again as much more content.

My God, I just had a Bilbo Baggins moment there...

Why, because you don't know half of the Irish programs half as well as you should like, and I like less than half of them half as well as they deserve?

;)

Antaine - maybe unabridges means all f-words are not cut out?)))

Another version - the end of the 4th CD develops the topic of an Irish woman who is strongly suggested couple of drinks by an American lad. Then he offers to see his place, with this the course ominously ends. So maybe in the "edited-out" part, the 5th CD, we get to learn what happened next? Kind of "very useful phrases in particular situations" lol))))
