The suspended genitive produces a séimhiú as follows: cóta Fhear na mBróg But what happens when the suspended genitive follows an elaborate preposition? Would you have: de réir Fhear na mBróg in aice Fhear na mBróg fá choinne Fhear na mBróg , or would it be "Fear" (i.e. without the "h")? Fáilte Roimh Cheartúcháin Ceartaigh rud ar bith atá mícheart -- úsáid phrásaí go háirithe.

As far as I know, it would still be with the "h" and not without it. The "h" is an integral part of the suspended genitive, regardless of where it occurs. Is mise, Michal Boleslav Mechura
