I don't care for the breakup in grammar in that one.
I've condensed it a bit, and the older spelling will also help shorten its length some too. Still, wait for confirmation from someone more fluent.

You'll notice especially the the dots above some of the letters instead of the letter 'h' after them.

Looks good to me. One point, however: Maidhc changed "geall" to "gealltanas" , which I think is a good call. "Geall" can also mean "wager, bet", while "gealltanas" is clearly "promise, pledge": i ngealltanas an ghrá.

One other thing: I'd write "dá fhaide" rather than "dá fhada". An bhfuil sé sin ceart dar libhse, a Dhaltaí?

I think it will fit neatly on the place you envisaged.

The context involves a Halloween party in which some game unfamiliar to me is being played with saucers of water, earth, and a ring. I think Dennis' guess that there is a dog or cat in the house is probably correct.
