This is good news. I am beginning to feel the lack of substantial books in Irish for my 9 and 10 year old bookworms - what they read in German and English is way ahead of anything available in Irish.

The early teenage hole in books seems to be still there, bar a few novellas transalted from Welsh.

Speaking of books in German, I loved "Die Geschichte von Herrn Sommer" by Patrick Süskind...
