I need some help with translating this phrase/idiom.
'le duine nó deoraí a bhaint ar shiúl'

tá aitheantas faighte ag foireann Sheáin Uí Raifeartaigh nach dtig le duine nó deoraí a bhaint ar shiúl, choíche,

(John Raffertys team have gained recognition that nobody cant take away, ever.)

This is my attempt, corrections welcome.

That's it: "...that nobody can ever take away."

duine ná deoraí - is just emphasising the "nobody"
It is a stock phrase.

deoraí [ainmfhocal firinscneach den cheathrú díochlaonadh]
duine taobh amuigh dá thír nó dá dhúiche féin, strainséir; duine truamhéalach

Buíochas le hAounghus, tá a fhios agam faoin <*hr> "tag" anois...

I've often seen that neat little underline (beneath "it's a stock phrase" above) so I've just looked at the source page for this thread.

Thanks for that, my friend ;-)
