My wife of 38 years passed away on 31 May 2005. We are having a memorial service for her on 18 Jun for which I have written a program. At the end of her biography I want to include the phrase "Slán agus beannacht le buaireamh an tsaoil" which, roughly translated, I believe means "A blessed farewell from the troubles of life" If I am correct, the phonetic pronunciation of that phrase is "Slahn Ahgus buhn-acht leh (buaireamh) ahn teel" Can anyone give me the phonetic pronunciation of buaireamh? Go raibh maith agat, Brian Kelly |

Brian, Sorry to hear of your loss. The word "beannacht" is pronounced "ban-acht." The word "buaireamh" is pronounced "buh-ruv" Le meas, Dáithí |
