I was chatting to a friend who knows someone else from Sligo who has used this board in the past. Apparently, no-one from Sligo, Leitrim and parts of Roscommon can post to this site. It seems all traffic thru the Sligo node is blocked.

I don't know if there is much traffic from that region, but it is a point I thought I would bring up, regardless.

well I did ask someone to attempt to post here from the Leitrim area, and they were blocked.

Perhaps, it is not all of the 3 counties above that are blocked, put only one, or part of one.

I assume that this was a deliberate act on the part of the admin, given the selective regionality of the block, so there may be reasons for it.

My own computer was blocked for months there about a year ago. I e-mailed the admin dudes but they just kept telling me the site was working perfectly... ?

But at the same time don't jump to conclusions, it could be something as simple as a dodgy Domain Name Server.
