Does anyone know what retreat sites Daltaí has looked at in PA? I was looking for some retreat centers in PA since I live here so I could try to be helpful. |

Well, I don't know what sites have been looked into, but my vote would be the Xavier Center, a retreat center located on the campus of the College of St Elizabeth, in Convent Station, next to Morristown, NJ. It's on a beautiful campus, and seems to have the kind of facilities an immersion weekend would require. Plus, rare among retreat centers, there's train station right on campus, with a direct train connection with NYC's Penn Station. It's not too far from Newark airport, and major highways Rt 24, 80, and 287. Here's a link: http://www.xaviercenter.org/Inside%20XC.htm Le meas, Paul |

Is that somewhat close to PA border, like how far would it be from Allentown? I know they wanted either PA or something easily accesible from the Southern states (Maryland, Virginia etc.) |

It's approx 49 miles from Easton, Pa, per MapQuest. I don't know if it's in the perfect location. But it's a comprehensive comfortable retreat center, in a beautiful setting, great mass transportation, and close to major interstate highways. Paul |

Sounds great but whats the rates like ?. Remember that the rates have to be kept down in order for everyone to be able to afford it. |

if it's so near a decent train station, that might mitigate some of the travel burden. rates need to be about what they are now and it needs to accomodate at least 100 people... |

A chairde, Per the link provided: they can accomodate up to 134 people. I don't know about their rates: I do know they host a lot of local church groups and 12-step organizations. Offhand, it doesn't appear upscale or anything. The best way to determine whether this facility meets the criteria would be contact the Xavier Center. Le meas, Paul |

Maybe they aren't very expensive if they host church groups, many groups like that can't afford very expensive rates. |
