Hello! I am needing someone to give me the IPA transciptions of the Irish words below. I am giving a short presentation on the Irish language, and don't want to sound completely flaky:-) Even if you don't know IPA, a close guesstimate would be great! Thank you! Brienne:-) University of Victoria, Canada Poblact na h ireann Bureacht na h ireann Taoiseach Conradh na Gaeilge Tír gan teanga, tír gan anam |

Thank you for the spelling fixes! I need to also add to my list the following English phrases. Would anybody be willing to give me the Irish translation and pronunciation (as well as for the irish words in the initial posting) ?? "Into future generations" "Current and future generations" "Revival and Retreat" "Current Issues" Thank you so much for your time and assistance with this! It is greatly appreciated:-) Brienne:-) |

The problem is the font. It seems to be Times New Roman, and this one has almost no phonetics symbols... |

Hi Lughaidh, The symbols aren't showing up. I can't read what Aonghus said, but it seems like we're saying the same thing:-) even if you have to resort to english orthography, that'll do. Thank you! |

Oh. The second set of symbols Lughaidh used turned up fine on Mozilla on Windows XP at home, but can't be seen on Internet Explorer in Windows 2000. .... Try Mozilla, Brienne! |
