"'This is the first major sale of any Irish-language series. Ros na Rún' is a contemporary drama series which is not afraid to tackle everyday issues head on, and the fact that a major U.S. television station will now be screening the program underlines the quality and success of the show,' said the show's executive producer, Máire Ní Thuathail.

'We are really looking forward to hearing what the people of Philadelphia have to say about the dramatic goings-on in a small village in the west of Ireland,' she said."
