I was just wondering if somebody there could translate the word 'self' into
Irish Gaelic.

Adam, the word you are looking for is Fein(the e has the little slash, called a Fada, above it).

...as in mé féin (myself), é féin (himself), leis féin (by himself), dúinn féin (for ourselves) etc. Just thought you might like to see how it is used.
