Today on the bus, I went pass a big stone sign beside an entrance that said "Grangecastle Golf Course". On the opposite side of the entrance was another sign, again a stone one, just as big, which read: Galfchúrsa Chaisleán an Ghráinseach It just shows how little they care. It would've taken less than 15 minutes to consult some-one who spoke Irish over the net to get a proper translation. I myself would've given: Páirc Ghailf Chaisleán na Gráinsí And even still I'm not sure "Grange" translates to "Gráinseach". On alot of signs too they tend to just throw h's and urú's all over the place. |

Typical. Self-regarding. And wrong. A pigeon (colúr) does not need a 'd' to fly. And it's pidgin English (Béarla briste). So much for you constantly berating others for their "Gaeilge briste". |

Here's a gold medal Aontachtaí! There's a difference between not spellchecking a simple bit of text and a huge stone engraved sign to be displayed outside a golf course. |

OK, Boys....knock it off!! There are better things to do and better ways to tie up this site than to vent your spleens upon one another! One of you will have to be the bigger man and walk away from it. Who will it be? |
