Hi everyone, apologies for the misleading subject, but you all still clicked on it.....PERVERTS

I was just wondering if there is an Irish language tutorial on-line anywhere? Its my suspicion that there isn't one, but there definately should be. And it should be free. Its not that I am a tight fisted bastard, but what better way to ensure (or at least assist) the survival of our great language than by embracing this new medium for information dispersal, the Internet. And free because....ok I am a tight fisted bastard, but thats not the point. You slap a charge on something, and people wont do it. Websites are cheap to develope anyway. I work in web design and I'd be willing to help out.

There are so many people like me out there, people who are frustrated that they didnt learn Irish properly in school (too busy messing or whatever) but wish they could speak it now, if even only for sheer pride and patriotism.

But I genuinely dont have the time to go and do a course. Between football and guitar, I have hardly a minute. But a free online tutorial would be perfect for the likes of me, and countless others i.e. lazy gits, because you can just fit it in a few minutes here and there whenever you can. Anyone know of any other organisations (concerned with the proliferation of the Irish language) that I could put this to as well?

Alan a chara,

I just did a search for 'course online', to the left of screen, and have copied the first piece to hit me, from a post of Seosamh (another S.) and Kay:

By Kay on Saturday, January 08, 2000 - 03:07 pm:

Seosamh, thank you for mentioning my site.
The url is
http://www.iol.ie/~sefton.
the iol stands for Ireland on Line.
The url for eo feasa is:
http://homepage.eircom.net/~eofeasa/
Its a very good site.

le meas,
Kay.

I'm sure there are others that you may like to check out, ach is tús duit an méid sin - it's a start anyway.

Good luck with it - Ádh mór.

Seosamh.

Maidir le 'nudity', nuair a thosóidh lucht porn ag scríobh i nGaeilge, ní bheidh mé le coinneáil uathu!

S.
