Gaeilge agus Fáilte A First Course in Irish Language and Culture for Adults is designed for learners with no previous knowledge of Irish.
It consists of a 200-page A4 book in full colour and two 60-minute audio cassettes. It can be used by groups of learners working with a teacher or by individual learners working on their own.
It was written for adult learners in Ireland and overseas, and is suitable for long-term, part-time courses and for short intensive courses.
Gaeilge agus Fáilte is a joint venture between Gael-Linn and ITÉ and was written by Annette Byrne.

I'm having a bit of a problem getting this book and tape set. Multiple searches on the internet have turned up nothing. Local book stores cannot locate the book by title nor ISBN. Can anyone offer a solid point of contact, perhaps in Ireland, that would be able to help?

I have just received my copy of both books and tapes. WOW!!! I must concur with Fintan. This is an incredible break from the "normal" language books. It's very user friendly and has explanations of why things are the way they are. GREAT asset for any adult learner!!
