A Rupert a chara (Dear Rupert),
Ah, Grasshopper, but we are ALL students of one discipline or 'nother! *grin*

HONOUR = onóir(nf3) / urraim(nf2)

DUTY = dualgas(nm1) / cúram(nm1)

THANKS = buíochas(nm1) or "Go raibh maith agat" (Just being obtuse, sorry *grin*)

Is mise le meas (Yours),
Creag 'Fintan' Batty

I suspect onóir is the version you want Rupert.
It means honour in the sense of "My sense of my own honour" whereas urraim is "honour I give to other people"
