My mother was wondering if someone could help her. She has been given the following proverb to write about - but she isn't really sure of its meaning: "Poor men take to the sea; the rich to the mountains". All she knows is that it is an Irish proverb. Would someone be able to help her? I know there are some proverbs that are unclear, as Gaelic words can have multiple meanings.
