i was wondering if you could tell me if i am write in my interpretation of the phrase "bas no an bua" . i think it means "victory or death", but i wanted to make sure. also, if you could let me know of any punctuation marks, it would be much appreciated. i am getting this tattooed on my arm and wanted to make sure it was correct. thanks very much.

Well, if you want "Victory" to be the first word in the phrase, it's:
"Bua nó an Bás".
I'd be more inclined to put the article "an" with "Bás", rather than "Bua".
