All of these beautiful drawings are the work of Mary Pat Hyland (Máire Phádraicín Ní Aoláin). These prints have been re-produced in black ink on high grade paper, suitable for framing. Each measures approximately 8 1/2" X 11". Under each drawing is an Irish proverb, known as a "Seanfhocal", which relates to the people depicted in the drawing. Under the Seanfhocal an English translation is given in smaller print. The Seanfhocal presented on this print is "Cleachtadh a dhéanann máistreacht", which in English means "Practice makes perfect". |
