All of these beautiful drawings are the work of Mary Pat Hyland (Máire Phádraicín Ní Aoláin). These prints have been re-produced in black ink on high grade paper, suitable for framing. Each measures approximately 8 1/2" X 11". Under each drawing is an Irish proverb, known as a "Seanfhocal", which relates to the people depicted in the drawing. Under the Seanfhocal an English translation is given in smaller print. The Seanfhocal presented on this print is "Ní neart go cur le chéile", which in English means "No strength without unity". |
