High Folks

From Pimsleur Irish,

“Tuigim beagán Gaelianne”.

I’m not sure what has modified “Irish”. Is it the beagán? Why?

Many thanks!

John

Gaelainne is the genitive of Gaelainn. beagán means “some, a little (bit),” and to say “some, a little (bit) of something,” you put the something in the genitive after it: thus beagán Gaelainne means “a little bit of Irish.”
