Dia dhaoibh!  I’ve got an odd Irish tradition question, and I don’t know where else to ask.  In the US, it is most common for a blue ribbon to be awarded to first place, a red ribbon to be awarded to second, and either white or yellow to be awarded to third (at a fair judging or some such). I’ve heard that in Britain and Canada, it’s typically that the first place gets red, the second place gets blue. Is this the tradition in Ireland as well? What about third prize?

I’m not sure either (since I’m from America), but according to https://www.runningimp.co.uk/standard-award-ribbons.html , it seems like yellow might be next. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not sure, but Ádh Mór, a Chara!
