I was curious on other's opinions on how the language will expand in the future and how quickly they think it will expand.

We need new learners. Those who began two years ago are fluent by now. Some of us are slowing down. We need others to carry on, add to the store of knowledge, do things much better than we ever did in our time. Pay more attention to good pronunciation. Avoid Béarlachas when good idiomatic expressions lie waiting in the literature, the prose, poetry, proverbs, folklore. There's a lot to be discovered, rescued from oblivion, used in everyday life. It is easier now. Leaving Ireland doesn't mean leaving Irish. Cad é an Ghaeilge ar absence makes the heart grow fonder?

My family has roots that trace back to Ireland and other celtic lands, but for many generations we've been here in the US...but I found my way to the language and hopefully others here will too regardless of whether they've even ever been to Ireland or not. And the Irish people in the US need to use it in public if they want to...bring it out in the open. :D
