Ba iontach iad na peileadóirí fadó.
Is í fadhb an óil an fhadhb is measa sa tír.
Is é Seán de Paor uachtarán an chumainn faoi láthair.

I'd say (Donegal Irish):

Bhí peileadóirí don scoith ann fadó. (Ormondo's means "The footballers were wonderful long ago").
(Is í) fadhb an óil an fhadhb is measa sa tír.
(Is é) Seán de Paor uachtarán an chumainn fá láthair.

You can drop "is é" and "is í" here.
