I'm new to these Forums - didn't know they existed until a couple of days ago. I'm afraid my use of Irish stopped at Leaving Cert Hons level many many moos ago. My wife and I have often wished we had retained our copies of Fíon na Filíochta - of course we didn't! I'm hoping that somebody visiting this website might have a copy for sale or know where I could get one. Any reasonable price paid for a good copy! Go raibh míle maith agaibh. |

An even better anthology is Filíocht na nGael, one of my most treasured possessions. |

Croga and Jeaicín, thank you very much for your responses. Lovely to see the old Gaelic script that I learned in Primary school. In secondary school one of the teachers had a typewriter with that script, though the cló romhánach was "in" by then. I'm still hoping somebody might have a copy of Fíon na Filíochta for sale or know where I might get a copy. Thanks. |
