Sorry Dathai but I'm not that strong at Irish.
I just think that "beigh" is not correct but I may be mistaken . I would put "bheigh".
Wait for proofreaders though;

Ah Jehan no worries I will run with translate.google.com whic gave the following. I can speak a fair bit of the Gaeilge but the writing is very sad :-)

Do NOT go with Google Translate! Machine translations may be OK if you want to understand the general gist of a text in a language you don't speak, but certainly not if you want a reliable, grammatically correct and easily understandable sentence. That line is no exception. Try
"Dá mbeadh Fraincis agam, ní bheinn ag lorg na catalóige i mBéarla" - "if I had French, I wouldn't be looking for the catalogue in English". |

"If I knew French" would be [Dá mbeadh Fraincís (ar eolas) agam] = If I had French.
in English = as Béarla
catalogue = catalóg
ag lorg catalóige as Béarla.
Dá mbeinn in ann ... ní bheinn ag lorg ... = If I were able ... I would not be searching for ...
Dá mbeadh Fraincís agam ní bheadh catalog i mBéarla uaim.
If I knew French I wouldn't want a catalogue in English.

"i mBéarla" is way more usual in Irish than "as Béarla", which is a rare expression that has be spread by schools because it avoids the "problem" of the eclipsis... (as if pupils were too stupid to learn "i mBéarla", btw you learn such expression by heart...). Anyway.
