Thank you

What I'm trying to ask in Irish is

'Pick the verb 'Fuair' and put it into a sentence please'
Just wondering how you say this correctly in Irish?

Go raibh maith agat!

'Cuir an briathar 'Faigh' in abairt'.

The verb is normally referred to as "faigh" or "faighim". Note that "fuair" is the preterite. If you specifically want the student to use the preterite form "fuair" in a sentence then you would need to specify that:

'Cuir an fhoirm 'fuair' den bhriathar 'faigh' in abairt'.

I see no need to translate either "pick" or "please" in Irish.

'An fhoirm 'fuair' a chur in abairt' - another way of asking the same thing.
