Is minic aistí leis an teideal "On " sa Bhéarla; nó "De " sa Laidin.

Cén ghlan Ghaeilge a d'fhéadfaí chuir ar sin?

"Maidir le"?

Mothaím go bhfuil "Ar " ciotach.

labhairt ar rud seachas faoi rud

Cinnte; sin a bheadh agamsa. Ach mothaím go bhfuil, abair "Ar an idirlíon" mar theideal ciotach.

a Aonghuis, ní saineolaí mé ach, táim ag léamh 'Na hAistí' le Montaigne a aistrigh Breandán O Doibhlin ó Fhraincís go Gaeilge. Ta a lán teideal ar nós 'den phaidreoireacht' agus 'den léitheoireacht' istigh ann. Tá súil agam go gcabhraíonn sé seo leat.

p.s. I'd just like to say that your posts have often been of great help to me in my struggles with the language. I'm sure that many other visitors to this site share my appreciation of your help. Please excuse my poor Irish above. Go raibh mile maith agat!
