If you are interested in the recommended spelling of that word for "I liked it" = "It shone with me" = Thaitin sé liom.
The dictionary headword is "taitin." There is no "h" although from the pronunciation in many dialects the "t" is lenited: "th".
The basic tenses are:
taitníonn sé liom; (I like it / It shines with me / I enjoy it)
thaitin sé liom; (I liked it / I enjoyed it)
taitneoidh sé liom; (I will enjoy it)
