I have a scrabble-like game on my iPod touch that I play every day. I wish they had an Irish language version. That would definately be interesting.

Suggest it to Glór na nGael; they've done the heavy lifting for Scrabble.

This may be a silly question but

is é príomhchluiche focal an domhain anois é

Is that second "é" supposed to be there?

Yes, both should be there. The first é is the subpredicate and the second is the subject. See GGBC: 16.35.

I've heard that they're also working on an Irish-language version of Monopoly.

This is another stupid question... but in Scrabble, and crossword puzzles, are the dotted consonants used there to avoid H's in possibly awkward places?

Tine, siúil liom!

I'd be surprised. Hardly anyone uses the dotted consonants anymore.
